Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
The Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic games will be good. Sam Houston, Colgate, and UNCW is a nice spread.
I love the Miami of Ohio game being November 4th. Going to be great watching basketball a bit sooner this year.

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
I completely agree. Four of the last six regular season games are on the road. SBC trap to prevent an App repeat?
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
The schedule is what it is. If 4 of 6 on the road late means we go more at home early in schedule. What is weird to me is we have lala on road as first conference game but no partner road game like ulm or south Alabama two days later.

Mid-Atlantic Christian lost to West Virginia University Institute of Technology by 67 points last year
Lost 4 other games by 50+ as well.
It would probably be more entertaining to pick up some App students at the SRC and watch them dress out instead of our actual team

I don’t see the point in games like that. What is crazy is to see these schools and you have never heard of them.HurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:25 amMid-Atlantic Christian lost to West Virginia University Institute of Technology by 67 points last year

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
Thank goodness for the SBC/MAC challenge games. Otherwise it's two sub-D1 games, a third year D1 programs and one of the worst D1 teams in W&M (334 in RPI last year) at home.
That has to be one of the weakest 30 OOC schedules in the nation.

And season tickets went up another $50 per seat this year with weaker OOC schedule and fewer home games.

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
For some reason(s) it must be completely impossible to put a decent non con home schedule together. Disappointing.

Just over three weeks until tipoff, wild! Looking at KenPom this is the earliest tipoff day for the two in well over a decade.

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
This team may need an easy schedule to get some wins. We lost just about everybody and now the one kid everyone was excited about is out for the season it sounds like.

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
The SBC will be a 1 bid conference for the foreseeable future regardless of SOS. But I am with you, need an easy schedule with so many unknowns.

Re: 24-25 MBB Schedule
Bad day of news all around. Was told a European account who follows Euro guys closely confirmed the Njock ACL. Now the Asheville cancellations.
Baseball season is under 4 months away. (technically still going on right now though)
Only kidding…looking forward to the new basketball team and the unknown.
