It's not beyond me. Half a mind to do it. Might be more productive to contact someone that is involved with the NIT.

Not blaming the refs but anytime the opposing team gets 30 free shots to your 8 you are probably going to lose. Net 22 more opportunities. Lost by 11. Also, I did a small sampling and Wake, more times than not, gets more FT opportunities than the opponent when playing at home. 17-1 at home?RaleighApp27609 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 10:54 pmTwo of the three officials for tonight's game officiated most of their games for the ACC this year as well as prior years. Just wanted to throw that out there.

He’s a full time ACC ref, has called their games for years. I don’t know him to specifically be a WFU fan.RaleighApp27609 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 12:20 pmYou'll have to tell me more. I would wager that if you took the bottom 15 teams in the NCAA Tournament and put us in a separate tournament with them we have a great to win.

That’s the thing with postseason college basketball. It’s literally a crap shoot. Anyone can win on any night and the loser has to go home. It is not a good way to crown a true champion, but it is a great way to entertain viewers.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 2:25 pmI would wager that if you took the bottom 15 teams in the NCAA Tournament and put us in a separate tournament with them we have a great to win.
I’m bummed App didn’t make the NCAA tourney because I think they deserved it and were better than some of the teams that did make it.
I’m bummed App lost to Wake, especially because I don’t think Wake was THAT much better. They just had a great night and all the breaks.
It is what it is, and App had an outstanding season. I’m hoping we get spoiled and begin seeing years like this one as disappointing the way we do with football.
Take the stairs.

Everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but an opinion can still be wrong. Believing the moon is made of cheese doesn’t make it true.pop5app wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 7:04 amMrCraig wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 6:28 amYou don't win 27 games with an awful offense. I think the most comprehensive weakness of Kerns teams has been the offensive production. It is rare the we pick and roll, Pass and cut thru the lane, very few back screens. Too much standing around looking for threes. Many times too much dribbling and not enough passing. Just my opinion but I agree the offense is awful. Can’t score can’t win. Great year. Hope it’s the beginning of a tradition in basketball. Oh and by the way nobody wants to deal with your desire to smash someone because of their opinion. Try not to get your feelings hurt or GTFO.
My point is, if you’re gonna come on here and bash the coach and say “Kerns offense is awful,” bring some proof to back it up. In conference, App was 4th in points scored, 2nd in FG%, and 2nd in FG made per game, and 2nd fewest turnovers.
So anyone is free to have the opinion that “Kerns offense is awful,” but they are wrong in basically every way and need to read more and go on somewhere.

App State finished 101 in offensive efficiency in the NCAA, that is in the top third. For reference we were 274th in 2022 and 217th in 2021.
We are one pure shooter that can play defense from being a top 50 team.

Several teams I’ve seen in the NCAA today that we could compete with and likely beat.

I love UK losing. If you are too dumb to front Christian Laettner ,(sp?,) at the far end free throw line with only a few seconds to go in a game, you should never be allowed in the NCAA tournament again. Yes, lifetime ban..

There are simply a few programs that I just can't root for and want to lose every year- Kentucky is at or near the top. Any team coached by Pitino is next. To say we could have been Oakland might be a stretch. They obviously won due to UNCA type 3 point shooting and that's not our MO. At any rate great for them. That dude who hit 10 threes shot like 347 of them along with 8 inside the arc this season. Crazy
