I know the tie break rules for the SB conference tourney...but haven't been able to find the answer to do they use a tie break to determine regular season conference champions? If we drop a game...and us and JMU finish with the same number of conf losses, would we be considered regular season champions because we hold the tie break? Or would we be co-champions (but get the top tourney seed)?
I've seen conflicting answers on this. Anyone know definitively?

I think that we are considered co-champs and App gets the #1 seed by virtue of the head-to- head.

Co-champs. Both teams would get a trophy. Every D1 basketball conference does this.
App would still be No. 1 and JMU No. 2 for the conference tournament.

Guess since conferences are unbalanced there is no way to break a tie as again, head to head doesn't matter.
