As bad as ODU’s record is this year, the only teams in the belt that have beaten them by double figures are us, Troy, and JMU….and they swept Marshall, beating them once by 25. I’m sure losing the head coach affected some chemistry and other issues.

They are one of those teams that you watch and ask why is their record so bad? They don't look inept offensively or defensively except defending that lob due to the lack of interior size.

At one time when football was down in a game my thought was "We got this. Not sure how but we got it." and I was not worried. Basketball was "We up by 15. I wonder how we choke?"

Now late in the 2nd half for basketball I am more like, "I wonder what we win by."

IMO, ODU is where they are, besides their coach being out, because they don't play together that well. There were a lot of fade away jumpers and contested 3's. They hit a few of them early in the second half to make it a game. But went the App run came they faded like Coastal did.
