You chose to read my posts in a negative light, it’s called confirmation bias.

I’m very positive about this team, about this coach, and there are many posts stating such.

Throughly enjoyed watching both games this weekend.

You came on this board 45 days ago and have allowed three people to taint my posts. One of those posters that speaks negatively of me is notorious for a Ted Lasso quote, be curious not judgmental. It’s great advice.
You obviously can't read either. It's not 3 people. That was 3 people PRIOR. In those 45 days, I have seen more negative than positive posts. That is my own personal opinion based on interactions -- no confirmation bias.

You're just a troll that has never been wrong, never will be wrong, and can't be positive. Sounds like you belong in Statesboro.

Bye!

I read basically all posts and don’t comment that much since a lot of these topics get to a point where posters just bitch at each other (this one is a prime example). I don’t always agree with what Saint says, but this narrative of him being negative all the time is not true at all. He’s positive more time than some seem to think, but I think that is because a lot of times he calls out the BS some posters put on here and they don’t like it so it turns into a pissing contest.

Too many on here can’t have a constructive conversation with others because “I’m always right and don’t want to hear others tell me otherwise”.

At the end of the day, we are on a board dedicated to our favorite school/team and all have one thing in common: we love App and want nothing but success.

Then there is NewApp/Jcline which, I’ll just leave that there.

Welcome to the board 704. Now I better understand the premature angst which is unfounded and biased before I type.

Imagine reading one thought about free throws and assuming that poster believes everything is negative about the team. Even after being very supportive in so many other posts.

Then compound that with assuming a negative connotation about someone you don’t know.

Think for yourself and assume most people are good until you get to know them.

Been a supporter of everything App State related for over 20 years and don’t plan to stop.
This isn't just one thread. This is at least 90% of your posts are complaining about something. You just can't be a happy person it appears. Always have to call out the negatives for zero reason other than to get the attention you crave. I fed the troll. And that's all you are -- a troll. You single handily ruin the board and drive other posters off and I see why.

The moment someone calls you out on the rhetoric used to get the attention you crave, you pull the "it's one thread" and "get to know me" card while completely ignoring the fact you're negative about EVERYTHING -- not just FTs.

And it's not unfounded and unbiased. Again, 3 different people with nothing to do with each other told me about you before I signed up. I have over 10 PMs from others thanking me for calling out on your shadiness because the mods won't do anything about your constantly negative rhetoric yet penalize people that try to bring positivity (no idea on that drama). So, very obviously not unbiased or unfounded.

I can only imagine what you're like when the QB and WR are off on an option route.bht, I won't be able to because I found that ignore button -- seems like the best option to get rid of the negative nancies. Problem is I still have to see it in quotes (according to the PMs), but I guess I can handle that.

I'm glad you support App and will continue to do so. But, you may want to take a chill pill in your support of App. Everything isn't negative. You're allowed to be positive!

And now I am done feeding the troll.
I wondered how long it would take.

This is the definition of Saint troll right here!

Literally facts and stats yet he constantly moves the goalposts to remain "right."

But, you're right. That ignore button is there for a reason so I am done.

Might need an IP check, 45 days on the board and such animosity is a red flag.

It is interesting that the most overtly negative and positive posters on here are the most aggravated by my posts.

Use it as it’s intended. I don’t prefer it myself simply because I enjoy seeing what others are saying, whether it’s right, wrong, I agree/disagree.

Yeah, that's typically what I do on other forums, but I read about App stuff to smile -- not constant negativity.

704 your bringing a lot of negativity yourself, multiple threads bud. Assumptions and embellishing others opinions to fit your rhetoric.

If two threads is a lot, then I guess you're right.

I posted my opinion on a podcast host that is constantly negative and someone that is constantly negative on a message board. If doing that in 45 days is bringing a lot of negativity, then uh.. cool or something

And there were no assumptions. It took 45 days to call out Saint because I generate my own opinion of him. The "warnings" were very true.

Just realized tonight I’m blocked by Marlin on X. Did he just block every App fan? I don’t know when or why it even happened. He has issues.

Technically, if we made 1 extra free throw per game, we would be at 71.9% which is slightly above average.
That is true. I think what has made it seem off is we have had a couple guys shooting really low. If Brown and Abson are hitting then we are pretty good. It would be great to see us close to 80%. That would put us in territory that makes it almost impossible for a team to get behind 4+ possessions inside 2 minutes to make a comeback.
I agree 80% would be great, but that's well above the NBA average. Not sure why we're suddenly expecting our team to do better that guys getting paid tens of millions of dollars to play the game.
Oh yeah 80% is really high but I feel like we will be unstoppable with a lead late in games if we can get up to 73%, which is done by about 110 D1 teams.

Honestly this team is really good and we are nitpicking. The biggest thing for us is just being consistent from 3, not turning the ball over, and taking good shot. It sounds crazy to say but we have a shot to hit 28-31 wins this year but we have the talent to do it.

Wonder if he actually has 10 DM’s about Saint? Kinda like those death threats?

I deleted the post with proof because there is zero need to air out that dirty laundry. Does no good and I would be the pot calling the kettle black.

But, uh, there is proof should you want it. I messed up by feeding the trolls, but I was not unprovoked. And I have more than the advertised number of PMs actually.

No more troll feeding. No more negative posts.

And certainly no death threats -- those are reserved for players only with this fan base.

So you lied about only being on this board for 45 days?

What else might you fabricate?

Just change your name back or at a minimum own it.

Relatively calm thread becomes very tumultuous and negative by a "new guy" claiming someone else is overly negative. And this "new guy" is lying about is identity. That requires some talent haha.
