All of those are top 32 which should help get an at-large, I know it will not do that , but it should be considered.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:03 pmAnd Abson is second in the nation in individual blocked shots....McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:36 pmhttps://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-m ... t/team/214

Good, keep talking about JMU. Selection committee will be like “they beat amazing JMU twice?!!”Bootsy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 9:13 pm...but for some reason, people still want to talk about JMU. Our conference just isn't strong this year. The American, West Coast and Mountain West were the only conferences last year to get at large bids outside of the Big 6.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:37 pmAll of those are top 32 which should help get an at-large, I know it will not do that , but it should be considered.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:03 pmAnd Abson is second in the nation in individual blocked shots....McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:36 pmhttps://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-m ... t/team/214

Bad reception? A dry bar?
I see what you did there. Clever.
Luckily no on that. Just in the middle of nowhere for phone service.
Agreed but every time any school in the UNC system tries to start a graduate program they block it and start it themselves. I remember something about UNC Concord wanted to start something then Cheat blocked it, and started one themselves in Charlotte.pop5app wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 9:05 amWe are righting the ship in athletics by dominating stink, let’s strengthen our academics, now. I see the state of GA. has proposed a dental school for stink. We are a better school than stink. We should push for more post grad and professional programs. Heck, Wingate even has a Pharmacy School in Hendersonville!?!?!? Always good to beat the stink!
Just another good reason to hate Cheat!APPdiesel wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:39 amAgreed but every time any school in the UNC system tries to start a graduate program they block it and start it themselves. Shame on the Bride and Groom for scheduling a wedding during BASKETBALL season . With baseball on the horizon these weddings might be subjected to three months during the summer for us App fans.
To start, landing funding for professional programs (medical/law/dental) is a multi-year marathon, not a sprint.pop5app wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 9:05 amWe are righting the ship in athletics by dominating stink, let’s strengthen our academics, now. Will you go into detail about why the Hickory campus is / was a debacle? Not attempting to start a debate or argument. Just curious and interested. Thanks.Bootsy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 11:29 amTo start, landing funding for professional programs (medical/law/dental) is a multi-year marathon, not a sprint.pop5app wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 9:05 amWe are righting the ship in athletics by dominating stink, let’s strengthen our academics, now. To make it happen, you need a university Chancellor who is well respected and passionate about professional program creation. They must also willing to lobby, negotiate, fight, beg, borrow & steal to make it happen...and all without lighting themself on fire in the process.
Everts is not that Chancellor: she's looking retirement in the face and I doubt she has the energy/passion to pursue making this happen. On top of that, the debacle called "App State Hickory" has destroyed her credibility with the UNC BOT and the NC Legislature. Maybe when she graces us with her departure, App will go outside to recruit a dynamic Chancellor who would be willing to take up this fight.
