App getting more votes in coaches and AP poll than all but two ACC schools. In the Carolinas, getting more votes than all but 3 teams: Carolina, Duke and North Carolina.

Let me start by saying that this year is the best basketball we have had in... I would say my life time. But in fairness, South Carolina is in the Carolinas.

Has the basketball team ever cracked top 25 AP or coaches? I don't remember it if it did happen.

We know some teams on the bubble are going to lose early in tournament and possibly fall out. I wonder if either App or JMU has a chance to get as high as an 11 seed with a tourney win depending on other results?

Without the at don’t think we have a chance to get in. JMU may if they lose in the championship.

JMU would need to lose to App in the title game, hope for no bid stealers in multi-bid leagues and get some bubble teams to crash out.

That's the only way the Sun Belt gets two teams in. Leaving out a 30-4 team with a top 50 NET would be cruel.
