Guard for Austin Peay is the best player on the court. His mid range is pure.

Nice win in Holmes. Team is more exciting to watch this year!
Jordan Marsh has some nice minutes in the second half. At 5' 10", he has a scorer's mentality. Should be fun to watch him progress.
We had 7 blocks and challenged everything inside.
Really need to figure out how to get more students and fans into Holmes. Sure, it was a Holiday weekend Sunday, but this team deserves to be supported better.
Bad luck next week, as I'm sure the Conference Championship Football Game will result in a 10% or more decline in actual attendance for Auburn.

The Auburn game is sold out, so I doubt attendance will be an issue at the Holmes Center.

True, but some hardcore supporters will have to chose.

For students, would be great if the university could sponsor a bus to travel to Troy...and have them back in Sunday before the Auburn.

If only they didn’t have to write papers and study for final exams.

That is what the long bus ride and ChatGPT is for

I know of several who are choosing Football.
App students do get free tickets to the football game (or at least Student Yosef members)

If the Auburn game is Sunday and the championship game is Saturday, what is there to decide?
I understand some students might be attending the football game, but will it be enough to not have the student section filled at Holmes? I doubt it. Also, UNC and Duke play on Saturday, so nothing to compete with in that area.

I like how Kerns hasn't been afraid to tweak the startering lineup a few times. Spillers has been really good. The deeper lineup has also meant that Donovan gets a little more time to rest.
It's early, but it's been a longtime since App has had a Top 100 Kenpom team.

The game Wednesday evening should be interesting. I would hope for at least 3,000.

Yeah, was at the game yesterday, I just don't understand it at all. Great product, fun atmosphere. I took my son to his first game in Holmes (freshman at App) and he really liked it and asked me why more people don’t go. I asked him what he thought and he basically said it’s not a “happening” like football and no one goes. Not sure how to gain momentum here, but it has to somehow become an event. Would still like to see students moved to one side of the sidelines, instead of the baseline. Put all the season tix holders together on the side behind the floor seats. Let the students be on tv.

Putting the students on TV might encourage them to show up. everybody wants their moment of fame.

My son is a senior. I challenged him to attend every basketball game and try to be a part of growing the student section.
He was there again yesterday, but we had less than 100 in the student section (and that’s being generous). I guess it’s just a different time.
ETSU means something to many alumni, but I don’t think any current student views it as any type of rivalry, regardless of the proximity.

I still have my Mountaineer Maniacs shirt and remember when we packed out the Varsity gym. Our whole dorm would go to the game.

Hopefully students start showing up more if we keep winning.
I was hoping to us my GS tickets to get the family to go but being at 1pm we weren't able to make it up there. If it was a little later I probably could have made it.

I was there and was also surprised at the poor attendance considering how well the team is doing. 30k+ sports fans were in the area and got free admission.
