Fort Myers Tip Off
Such a shame how this is set up. Beach division and Palm division. Are the 4 teams in the Beach division scared to have to play one of the teams in the Palm division? I could see an uneven split of money but it looks like we are playing a round robing and the other four are playing a tournament.
So basically, We got high hotel prices with none of the glory.

I agree...money. My question is why would we be willing to do it. At least get espn+ as part of the deal. It doesn't look like fs1 would have objected. I would love to know our thoughts on this one.

Re: Fort Myers Tip Off
The women's tourney features 8 teams (7 P5's and Princeton) in two divisions. One division plays two games that are already scheduled, the other plays a traditional tourney bracket.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 5:28 pmI agree...money. Maybe someone dropped out, they had eight teams and two tourney brackets last year for the men.

Re: Fort Myers Tip Off
I don't see why we accept invites into these tournaments streamed on juco sites and flo hoops. Would have been awesome if we could have been in the myrtle beach tourney on espn this week, what a great field of mid majors in the national spotlight:
CofC
Vermont
Saint Louis
Wyoming
Wichita St
Coastal
Furman
Liberty

I think we’re just trying to get a few games in a nice place for our guys. Hope they enjoy it and bring home two dubs.HurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:50 amI don't see why we accept invites into these tournaments streamed on juco sites and flo hoops. Re: Fort Myers Tip Off
Down by one point at half which given how most of the middle of the half went is pretty solid. When the defense is clicking it begets more offense, especially when they push the court, but when UNCW is shooting well the pace hasn't turned in our favor. UNCW also 7/17 from vs 2/10 for App which has been big. Nice edge on rebounding so far though which has kept things tight.
Spillers with some really good minutes so far too.

todays starters were: Donovan, X, Harcum, Spillers, and Abson whic is a very interesting combo lol

The Marsh and Tate show for a minute. We will need those 2 and Harcum to keep it up!

16-0 run APP! 75-49 now with 5 minutes left. That was quick.
It was 47-50 with 13:00 Left. 25-2 run in 8 minutes.
