“Wait til basketball season”…that’s what we’ve become.
Sickening.

I’m aware of that, but I wanted to move the conversation forward after our putrid start against southern miss last night….essentially it was an effort to move a basketball conversation to the front of the board.

It’s been a putrid start for four years every game just not ready. I sit in section 112 and all the recruits including the BBall team come up every game . They seem ready and engaged. I’m excited.

Well, it was a failed attempt to move to top... especially if the original poster has to "bump" ... humorous and sad at the same time..(sad, as in this thread)...this is too funny

While the attempt was noted…. he did reach the football nation by indirectly asking them to engage.

Yeah, the bump was after I realized the team wasn’t really making any impactful adjustments. I’m ready to move on to supporting our basketball program. They can make some noise this year.

I have recently relocated from Atlanta to Hickory for retirement. I am hoping to attend more App basketball games now that I am closer. I am a Yosef Club member but don’t donate enough for free BB parking. Can anyone recommend the best location for BB parking? Thanks

From the MAF/Yosef Club:
There are six lots we would like to direct you to for the season that are within walking distance (.4 of a mile) to Holmes: Peacock, Duncan, Legends, Hill Street, University Drive and Rivers Street Deck. We are going to provide a shuttle from the Rivers Street Deck for all home games this season to accommodate those who did not get a season pass.

You’ll be able to see App hoops play in Hickory on Dec 21 against what should be a really good UNCA squad.

Aaahh. That’s right. Thanks for the reminder. I have been making the drive up from Atlanta for football for over a decade. Now I can enjoy more of my alma mater activities.

Just looked through the schedule more thoroughly . . . I think this is the toughest I've seen us play top to bottom. We better be ready, some solid early season opponents before conference play.

It's a weird schedule IMO, we start with, what should be a win against Oakland City...then schedule gets somewhat tough through Auburn..then 3 we should win in mid December. Realize we cannot make our schedule....but with transfers, etc., would have been nice to have the 3 mid December games around timing of Oakland City and Northern Illinois ...so guys can gel.
