Conference BB standings

It is interesting that 4 of the top 5 teams in the Sunbelt are “newcomers” to the conference.

Self evident of how the SBC sucked in basketball.
Baseball is a better topic for the SBC.

Also means we picked schools to improve the conference instead of bringing in schools just to get school numbers to a level needed to exist.

No doubt that CUSA had an edge in basketball historically, but the teams at the top this year aren't the ones who did the best in CUSA. Southern Miss is having their best year in a long time and I think Marshall is as well. Old Dominion is a great program but has been less than dazzling this season. Also, Georgia State is historically strong in SBC and is sucking this year. I'm not sure many conclusions can really be drawn.
