I hope our rotation soon becomes Hunter, Harcum, Boykin, Brown, Gregory, Walker, Abson. Pearson Mantis to give **short** rests for the main rotation. When Mantis is on the floor we should play a zone and put him in a corner with Abson, Walker and Brown helping. The ball must go inside and then out to a MOVING Mantis, Boykin, Hunter, Walker for them to be able to get an open shop. I would have Gregory, Abson, Brown, Hunter playing together with a shooting guard Boykin, Harcum or Walker. The rotation can all play incredible defense and should be able to score enough to win games. I also could see a box in one defense with Brown on their best scorer. Brown plays shut down defense. My favorite five on the floor at crunch time....Harcum, Boykin, Gregory, Walker, Abson. Hunter and Walker are almost interchangeable. With Boykin hurt, I like Harcum, Walker, Hunter, Gregory, Abson at crunch time. My two cents from what I have seen so far this year. There are a lot of good kids on this team. Re: GAME THREAD - MBB at Old Dominion, Sat Dec 21st
we have a decent shot at beating this team on the road..hope our guys get it back on track tonight. i still think kerns is a very good coach...has he made mistakes? yes for sure...but its hard to tell if our late game collapses are coaching issues...player execution/player iq issues...or somewhere in between. i do know we can compete with anybody in the sunbelt...can beat anyone and can lose to anyone...would love to see us hit a win streak coming back home 4 games in a row starting next week

This is kind of a big game. We lost one on Thursday we should have won and we have two winnable home games next week.

The next 3 or so games could begin to show some separation between the top 4, middle 6 and bottom 4 teams. Win all 3 we can be near the top of the mid tier and in the hunt for the top 4. Take some bad losses and we start looking at the bottom 4.

I’ll start the complaining now. I can’t believe the lack of ball movement….we might not win another game 🥸

Couple of things- how can a division 1 basketball player shoot 42% from the free throw line? Jeff Jones kind of packed on some lbs

ODU has a helluva an arena. Very nice from all of the other arenas I’ve seen within the Sunbelt. Hope we keep the pace in the second half.

Man I get that you are a slasher and not a jump shooter, but how do you not shoot better than 40% from the free throw line? Unbelievable.
