Wonder when Teasett will return from suspension

Him and Walker are guys I feel like should be getting more minutes down the stretch, especially if Boykin’s injury is gonna linger for a while

Most predictable team in basketball.. one said a few months back we would be a 500 team at most. Just Melvin Milk toast basketball.

How many times has Walker touched the ball in overtime?
Not nearly enough.

no thanks. walker for sure. i’d go to eads or zocko before teasett. his PT was shrinking well before the suspension. no boykin is crushing us though, we’re left with a bunch of 1 dimensional scorers now.

The Belt just looks wide open right now. Those top 4 teams could either separate from the league or we could see teams move up and down. The key is to avoid the bad losses. We are basically in the middle of the pack right now. Coastal played well last night and we just tried to ride the hot hand. I left the house for OT and I'm glad I did apparently. Being down a couple of guys is definitely hurting us. We give up way too many easy shots. You can live with an opponent hitting long 3's at times because it's not typically sustainable. Our inside bigs just don't give us the offense unless it's a dunk.

Tough loss especially with Walker playing lights out. Offensively the team played pretty well. Good FT shooting.

But defensively a whole different story. We couldn't seem to find an answer for anything. I think having a shorter rotation was a factor, but the staff is going to need to find somebody else to step up. Coastal was lights out from 3 but that's been an issue all season.

Didn't understand the management of the last possession of regulation or most of OT.

Where do we go for answers? Our whole team was gassed but most important Gregory could barely move. Kerns has to inject fresh legs to give him and harcum breathers especially in a lengthy OT game! The 4 big rotation is solid, those guys are fine but we've got to get more guards in the lineup to give Harcum and Gregory a rest.

I thought our defense had an uncharacteristically poor showing last night. Too many “run-byes” while in a man-to-man and that zone, however brief, was atrocious. Looking forward to getting Boykin back.

Several weeks ago some were begging for a player to take over late in the game. For whatever reason we had no legs ate the end of regulation, much less in OT. I’m beginning to question coaching because our players seem to lack instinct and bball IQ sometimes. I’m not sure which is the driver though. It can be a vicious cycle.

We weren’t begging for a player to take over, we commented we don’t have a player capable of taking over.

I may have been wrong. Walker may be able to, incredible performance last night.

We are in a really bad "catch 22" right now. I think Kerns is the best coach we can get here right now because I think coaches are starting to look at App as a dead end job. How do you recruit to App when there is no basketball atmosphere? You can be a great coach but if you can't get talent up the mountain it is tough to win.

I think the school (APP) has done everything they can do. The fans/students have to show up or recruiting will continue to be tough.

It cost more for me to get in my daughter's JV game than the APPSTATE basketball game and we still can't get anyone to the game. It is a sad situation.

I didn't see the CC game but in several earlier games I felt that Donovan tried to do to much in critical situations - that's ok if he has a history of delivering - Forrest would fire up some wild shots at the buzzer but man, several of those were nothing but net - In one game in an important situation Donovan got a steal and headed up court on the right wing - it was a 3 on 1 and instead of getting the ball to the guy in the middle (the standard play) or even further ahead to the guy on the left wing he took it to the basket 1on1 and of course the defender expected that and blocked his shot -
You could go thru every game by every team and find similar happenings so I'm not pointing this out to demean Donovan because without him this team would be in trouble - I guess this go back to coaching

Gregory is one of the best five tool players App has ever had, but he’s not a guy that can take over a game at the end.

He will be missed next year, always been the glue guy making others around him better.
