Thought we'd be past the offensive woes in year 4. No more hero ball/iso players, past covid year, roster is almost fully Kerns guys, "10 deep anyone can step up any night" and still struggling.

Hope we get it right these last 12 minutes, we should not be losing to Campbell at home

I like Kerns but I haven’t been able to figure out our offensive scheme since he he got to Boone. There are way too many times when there are two players occupying the same space and we may as well not set screens since they are so weak.

The only time we’ve ever spaced and passed well is when Buzz was here. I think it’s in the water on campus or something. I’ve gotten used to it.

Agreed, based on new roster and going into year 4 I thought we'd begin to see a shift or improvement. Kerns mentioned on BGP that the previous teams didn't have the players to play at a quicker pace but said this years team was the deepest and capable.

It feels like all I do on this site anymore is complain...so let me start with the positive. I like our players. I like our coaches. Our fans looked like a good crowd.

The negative...lots of standing around without the ball. Maybe it is designed but if I were coach and I was 10 deep, I would have constant motion to the point you would be benched if you were not moving without the ball.

Some of us remember when Kevin McGeehan was in the discussion for our head coaching position. In fact, he was said to be on the "short list." Easy to see why.
