Re: Delph
As he is now, none. If he wants to give it a shot he should aim for the G league or Europe to continue developing. The sun felt isn't much to look at in the bigger picture and at this level on competition he only shoots 41% FG. That's not good. He improved his 3% and he should probably focus on that and model his game after CJ McCollum to give himself the best shot at making it in the future. So I won't say never, but I will say not right now.

Re: Delph
You never know. There are guards in the league I’ve never heard of and I watch tons of college basketball. Probably 500 guards a year try someway to make the league and maybe 15 make a roster.

Re: Delph
I've been told Delph has been given a possible second round draft grade from NBA. I don't think it'll happen, but he should at least get in a camp.

Re: Delph
Right in the tweet I posted. "Appalachian State senior guard Adrian Delph has signed with an agent, will turn pro and won’t take advantage of extra COVID year, source told @Stadium."
Doesn't have to be a discussion of COVID, just a mention in any form.

Re: Delph
He will find some solid paychecks in Europe or possibly the G league. He's got someone blowing smoke about the nba. He doesn't make a single mock anything. These guys are competing against the entire world now so its not just the 358 D1 teams and all the D2 and 3 squads. I hope he makes wise choices.

Re: Delph
While mocks are fun to look at, they're done by journalists -- not the people that get paid for a living to evaluate players.
While NBA doesn't have a formal process to get a draft grade like the NFL does, they do have a process. His possible 2nd round grade came directly by folks associated with the NBA. Nobody is blowing smoke his way. Nobody has said he will get drafted. He has been told if he does get drafted, it'll be in the second round.
As already been stated, if he doesn't get drafted he will have his degree and chance to make money playing the game he's dedicated his life to overseas.
