Your #1 in the Sun Belt App State Mountaineers (13-9) host UA Little Rock (7-10) Saturday.
App State winners of 5 in a row host a team that’s won 2 of their last 5. Guard Isaiah Palermo is their top scorer at 12.5 ppg.
App defense has really stepped up allowing just 63 ppg on the season. LR averages 71 per in scoring but giving up 73. On paper App is a better rebounding team…something that we’ve really stepped up in the last few games.
ESPN matchup predictor gives App a 91% chance to win.
Climb the mountain if you can Saturday. Time to pack 4,000+ into Holmes. These players deserve it. If you can’t, game will be on ESPN+.

Where is the local weatherman? I need a weather report for driving to Boone from all parts of North Carolina. He does football but I think we need a basketball weather report.

I've been watching this dude on a tractor scrapping the snow away from The Holmes Center sidewalks all morning on Resort Cams. It stopped snowing there about an hour ago I think. Getting ready to head up the mountain.

Downtown area and BR rd. Should be ok. Stopped snowing in Vilas about 9:30. Clear, cold (18 degrees) and windy (20 mph off and on). Sun is beautiful! Come on to the game!!! Go APP!

Serious question. I am watching the Georgia St. vs ULM game on ESPN+. The game is at ULM. There broadcast looks like it is on ESPN. Great camera work. Great audio. Their production is incredible. What are they doing that we are not? Our productions are horrible. I know their budget is small.
