Crazy game. This team knows how to win ugly. Kerns has the guys believing right now and it's fun to watch the fight. Texas State almost ran us out of our own gym in the first half but those last three minutes of the first half were INCREDIBLE!

There was a thread for a different sunbelt game but not our own before I created it midway through the 2nd half. We ALL need to do better to increase basketball chatter on this board.

This was a great win considering how far we were down. Tx State beat us like a drum down there without two of our starters. They played today without their best player, some would say the best in the Belt.

Now that we are healthy, this team is playing some real confident ball. I would think our SBC brethren would not want to face us in the tourney if we can maintain this kind of effort and performance.

I know some give JF grief for his shot selection on occasion but he has now hit 3 big threes that have won games this season. Pretty clutch.

Kearns deserves a lot of credit in this one. Our switch to a 1-3-1 zone completely flummoxed a well-coached Texas State team. Best home crowd I’ve seen in ... in decades.

And the women beat TxSt as well.

I don’t follow App basketball as much as I probably should. But I do read most of the threads regarding basketball. The change of conversation has been nice ever since that Capel guy departed, and glad to hear our basketball program has been making huge strides
