The great LaLa meltdown left a lot of questions to be answered about this App squad. The second half was eerily familiar to the Fox era. Shudder! Will the guys get back on the D train and ride out with a win ? UTA has been a little schizophrenic themselves. It’s anybody’s guess but we’ve generally bounced back well .We just have to make it happen with effort , intensity and good shot selection.

Ike is not dressed once again, and I don’t see O’showen anywhere. Two freshmen (Lewis and Gregory) started.

Another tough first half to watch

The injury bug is really hitting the Apps hard. According to the announcers, Williams didn't even make the trip.

Too many 2nd chance points. Thank goodness UTA cooled off from beyond the arc.

We need to win the first 4 minutes out of the half.

I know we are missing two of our better players, but what kills me is how slow we are at bringing the ball up. If you pick up the pace you can have the ball up before they set up their zone. We also need to penetrate and dish off. This appears to be a winnable game. We also had several unforced errors... all correctable. Lets go!!

First half - 40% at the charity stripe.

I just want us to play a game where we don’t have 5+ turnovers from the press that every team uses against us

Ugh these turnovers are painful. Feels like we’re just a couple possessions away from being back in this. Hope we keep trying to work it inside.

As much as we’ve talked about how much better the defense is this year, we’ve looked pretty bad at defending the 3 point line the last couple of games.

Oh well, only 8 1/2 months til football season!

Hate that we have to be patient

Save for that long heave at the end of the GS game, we would be on a four game losing streak. As it is we have lost three of 4. Got to get healthy if we are going stop this dive we are currently suffering.

Short handed loss to the last place team. If we take care of the ball the game is winnable. We don’t and we don’t. Mental breakdowns beat us. Again.
