Does anybody know if there is a way to purchase an old basketball jersey. I know they used to do the surplus sales. I was able to purchase football and baseball jerseys then. Would love to have one for basketball as well. Any help would be appreciated. GO APPS!!

I would love a hockey sweater.

I’ve contacted multiple people in the program, the bookstore, other random stores around Boone and for the life of me I can’t find a basketball jersey. So good luck and let me know if you find a treasure trove.

I'm willing to bet that the players, coaches or whatever just take them home when a player leaves the team for this or that reason, or when the team changes their jerseys... It may be worth looking out on craigslist, ebay and that kind of stuff, but it'll be hard to find.

Once our basketball program becomes relevant, game-worn jerseys will be sold at auction on appstatesports.com. In fact, I'm expecting to see a 'Shad Shabazz jersey on an auction in late October just before the MBB season starts. He's the #2 all-time scorer in App State MBB history.

Makes sense, it'd be a great - and easy! - way to earn money when the team starts getting traction on media.

Bet you'd like to see this on eBay. Unlucky for you it won't ever be! Sand Knit warm up jacket from Coach Light's era! Got it from Bobby when I was working with the team. For me.....priceless.

A basketball jersey has been something I've wanted for a while...

1. I met DG at the 2017 TXST football game, asked him how to get one. He said email him. I did but never got a reply.
2. I've posted on this blog before and nothing came of it.
3. I sat court side at the UT Arlington game this year and met Jason Alison (awesome guy btw). Asked him how to get one. We connected via email and he sent me 3 App MBB t-shirts (Black, Gold and Grey). They are awesome and I wear them all the time!

As I've said to everyone I've ever had a conversation with about this...I'd love to make a donation to the program for a jersey. I'm not picky (Preferably one of the gold ones with the script writing) I'll take any color available. Size L or XL

By the way, what kind of prices do these jerseys usually run for? Because I don't think they can fetch sums that range from enough to get a a Cadillac to what you need to buy a villa in Greece, but I guess it's still not the price of a plate of mac and cheese.

Just to clarify, are you looking for strictly a game worn basketball jersey, or are you looking for any type of basketball jersey including a replica? Your post got me thinking, and I was really surprised to not see any basketball jerseys for App at all available online. Kind of strange. I have at least 1, maybe 2 replica ones in the closet at home if you're looking for one of those. I'd sell you one for cheap.
