TAMPA, Fla. -- Appalachian State men's basketball will return to the road, playing at South Florida this afternoon at 1 PM. in the first of two consecutive road contests. The game can be seen on ESPN3.

This will be the third all-time meeting between the two schools, with the series knotted at 1-1. App State won the matchup last season in Boone by a 84-61 score, while the Bulls won the first-ever meeting between the two programs in Tampa in the 1994-95 season 86-71.

The Apps never gave up in a 76-69 loss to the USF Bulls but it's futile when you're out-rebounded 48-30.
The biggest Bull of them all, 6-8 240 soph AlexisYetna, was the difference as he owned the boards. He finished with 18 rebounds. The Apps had no answer for his strength and determination.

Now 4-6 on the season, the Apps move on to Georgetown, a team that defeated USF in OT earlier in the month.
