Last season the Over/Under was set at 14 and the boys went over by 1.
This season (2018-19), I’ll put it at 16. Tournament wins count. What say you, OVER or UNDER?

If we don’t get to 16 wins that would be a bad season with this schedule.
18 should be the minimum.

D1 wins only I think we get 14.

If we only improve by 1 win with this roster that would be a major disappointment.

The last season we won over 16 games was 2009-10 (Buzz). This year is huge in terms of the direction of the program. While I hope for 20 wins and a Cinderella SBC Tourney, over 16 continues the upward trajectory (albeit a slow one).

I will go with Over - 18. There are some great kids on this year's team. We are planning to make it to more games this year. I was hoping they would have a basketball game on a Saturday night after a football game again this year, but it does not look like it according to the schedule.

Over.
I have seen this team practice and was very impressed. Fox finally has the right pieces and they are going to turn some heads this season.
H. Battle will be calling J. Battle's name on the broadcast all winter long.

looking at the schedule and our roster, I want to say we get 20 wins before the Sun Belt tourney, and at least 22 wins total. However, nothing has been proven about team chemistry and how the new coaches/old coaches departures will impact this team.
I'll go with 20 total. We need to protect our court during conference play since the road hasn't been very friendly at times. Ga State looks to be the most talented team in the Belt, and Ga Southern still has Tookie and Ike Smith, but Southern has been very beatable from what I've seen the last couple of years. We shall see what ULL can do after graduating a couple of very productive players.
I feel that discipline (taking care of the ball and locking down more on defense) will be key this year. We've seen some lulls in those areas in the past that have cost us games.

I bought BB season tickets for the first time ever. Non-conference home schedule is horrible but conference games will be interesting as the Sun Belt is a solid basketball conference. Hope to make most of the Thursday/ Saturday home conference weekends. I project overall wins at 18+. I think Battle and Delph will both be significant contributors.

I'd love to see some of these OOC football deals, if we have to give up 2 for 1's to get opponents to Boone, come with basketball kickers. Imagine ECU, UNC, USC and others coming to Boone for basketball. It's been a while since we had a big boy come up.

We didn’t schedule 2-for-1’s with any of those schools. And you are being awfully kind to ECU basketball if you’re suggesting they’re a “big boy.”

Last season I said it was 15, and nailed it.
This season it should be 18.

I like round and even numbers like 20, but that's elusive for teams like ours--the members of which have refused to grow up in seasons past. Assuming they have finally mastered in-bounds passes after a dead ball, I'm going with 19 in the regular season and hoping to see 20+ after the post-season at least one more time during my life.
(At my age and with my health, I have to be realistic.
)
BTW, Joe Battle will help us! Maybe Bibby and Delph.

But we didn't exactly schedule H&Hs. But fine we'll call them H&H&N w/ ticket concessions. You're missing the point by being so pedantic. The point being, I'd like to see us work basketball games into some of these football match ups.

I got the point, and it’s not a bad idea. My point is that they’re not going to just throw in a basketball visit without us sacrificing something else (say, the payday for that second road game).
Of course the teams you mentioned are at vastly different levels. A visit from ECU shouldn’t be contingent on football - they’re basically a peer. UNC is obviously as blue as blue bloods get and likely isn’t coming to Boone absent some personal connection. South Carolina honestly should be in the sweet spot of the kind of power conference team we could get to visit every once in a while.
