By now, the shockwaves should be subsiding in Cam Henderson Center on the campus of old rival, Marshall University, where earlier this afternoon, our young Apps won just their second game of the season.
The Apps' Soph center, Bayley Plummer (East Davidson), was easily the player of the game. She captured another double-double for her early playing career--playing the full 40 minutes while capturing 18 boards and scoring 16 points. She was credited with 3 blocks and 3 steals. [There's a rumor floating that she also piloted the team plane, but there's been no confirmation from the charter service.]
Soph guard Nicola Mathews (Adelaide, Australia) also played the full 40 minutes scoring 17 points and dishing out a team high 5 assists. Frosh guard LaPresha Stanley (Rockledge, FL) scored 16 points and dished out 4 assists in 38 minutes on the hardwood.
