App vs GSU

Trailing by one with eight minutes left in the half. We started out sluggish, but started clamping down on defense towards the middle of the half.

Kel Robinson is out (missed Coastal as well) and will be for about three weeks. Hurts on the D side especially with the way the Sou guards play.

Yah we could use some more size inside. GSU leading by five with four left in the half. We'd be up if it weren't for some turnovers.

Ike Smith is sitting with two fouls right now (and probably for the remainder of the half). Hopefully we can take advantage, he's got about half their points so far.

37-32 at the half. Could be worse...10 turnovers but GS has missed a number of good looks.

Yah they've missed some choice shots.

I feel like if we can...
1) Keep going inside or at least run the offense and not settle for long threes
2) Keep GSU out of the paint and limit offensive rebounds

GSU looks miserable on the free throw line.

Lost 88-92. We started to pullback at the end, but GSU crushed us on the free throw line. I know it's difficult to pull positives from a loss, but this was one of the better games we've played. GSU hit some impressive shots in the second half.

The effort was surely there tonight. Shabazz and Babic played huge down the stretch. We do need to get better on defense, GS drove on us all night. Robinson's absence hurts no doubt but it wasn't just the point that struggled. In the end we lost the game at the line.

Yah you couldn't be more right about losing at the line. We struggled to make free throws all game and while GSU struggled at the line int the first half, they were pretty clutch in the second.

Hopefully we can come out with the same energy against Georgia State tomorrow.

A lot of that was our strategy when we started fouling with two minutes left. GaSou was actually one of the worst free shooting teams in the conference, and of course, on Saturday, they shot lights out.
