Winthrop. 52

Oops. You're right. I got them confused with Montreat and Warren Wilson. Hartford comes in at 321 of 351.

Problem with RPI is that it weighs who and where you play more than how you play. So if you play, say, a true road game at Duke, it doesn't matter if you lose by 1 or 100 - RPI counts it the same, and it's actually going to be a boost.
Factor in that five of our six D1 games have been on the road (which the RPI also likes), and you get our less-horrible-than-expected ranking.
For comparison's sake, we're 283 in kenpom.

We could be better this year (yet to be determined) and fare no better in conference play. The SBC has been pretty solid in OOC play, present company excluded. I believe we open Belt play in Texas.. We'll get a chance early on to see how we measure up to the best in the Belt.

Could be the key to another transitive property national championship for us if BC can somehow manage to win an ACC game this year.
