Couldn’t be there or watch. Looking forward to watching when I get home.spacemonkey wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 4:30 pmIf you didn't make it to this game in person , you missed out on a great time. Check the stats. I’m seeing consistency from the stripe and a good range% from 3. Low turnovers. Love what I’m seeing.

Re: War Eggles/Plainsmen
One good thing about this game was that the win came with Abson being a non-factor. I hate to see him not score and foul out with meaningful time left, but it’s nice that we can still win under that circumstance.

Excellent atmosphere. Just shows what we can be as a bball fanbase. Hope we get more of these types of games in Boone in the future. Also, all of the Auburn fans around me were super nice folks and very complimentary of our fans and bball team. One of them asked me if we get this much student turnout for football? Tate, Marsh, and Spillers combined for 32 points, 4 assists and 10 rebounds. What great additions these guys have been to an already solid team.

Joey, and several other football players were in the Yosef Club room before the game taking pictures and mingling.

I live in an area with a lot of Auburn fans/alumni. For the most part, they are a pretty great fan base.

Joey, Bucky, Daley, and Nate Johnson were 3 rows in front of me during first half.

Auburn probably used the hoops game as a diversion while they poached our football team.

I’ve seen Marsh in person the last two home games. If he stays for 4 years, it’s going to be a special time in Holmes.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 5:57 pmTate, Marsh, and Spillers combined for 32 points, 4 assists and 10 rebounds. Re: War Eggles/Plainsmen
We had that solid lead in the last few minutes but didn't gag it away. If you'd taken a poll of even the most optimistic App fans most would have thought Auburn hits some shots, we turn the ball over a few times or choke at the line. Nope
Perhaps we have us a hoops team!
