Our shooting is going to have to improve and find a scorer outside of Forrest and Johnson.
I predict we’ll go 11-9 or 12-8 in conference play.

Wait....mid-air collision? An elbow to the jaw? Was Derrick Wittenberg suited up again?asu66 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2019 6:23 pmA decent effort against a deep and experienced ACC squad but you simply can't win when you shoot 37% from the floor and loose the rebounding battle by *gulp* 19 boards.
Gotta be concerned about Isaac after that mid-air collision with Bates and about the late shot Justin took to the jaw from Funderburk's elbow. Would hate to go against Ga State Thurs. night w/o either of them.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Well, this guy could pass for Wittenberg's 6-10, 250 cousin. The hit on Isaac was a close call, but it was ruled a flagrant foul, but there was no ejection. Well, this guy could pass for Wittenberg's 6-11, 245 cousin. The one-on-one hit on Isaac was a close call, but it was ruled a flagrant foul 1. There was no ejection. The elbow hit on Forest was in heavy traffic. The ref just looked the other way. Wittenberg would have been high-fivin' everybody near him after witnessing both plays!scatman77 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 8:06 amWait....mid-air collision? An elbow to the jaw? I'll bet Wade hasn't forgotten either.asu66 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:16 pmWell, this guy could pass for Wittenberg's 6-11, 245 cousin. No doubt about that! BTW, do you know where Wade lives now and what he's doing? I'm not up-to-date at all. I intended to ask Bobby or Kevin about Wade at the Linville event last summer, but there was way too much to talk about and way too little time.scatman77 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:33 pmI'll bet Wade hasn't forgotten either.asu66 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 4:16 pmWell, this guy could pass for Wittenberg's 6-11, 245 cousin. No I do not, but I'll try to find out. I feel sure both or one of them knows. I'll also try to get up with TBone too; haven't talked with him in a while.asu66 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:23 pmNo doubt about that! BTW, do you know where Wade lives now and what he's doing?
