We scored! Run ended! 25-0 run by Wisconsin. Took us 10:00 to score a point. Get to half and regroup.

We should probably change back to an all girls school since the female athletes are the only ones shouldering the load.

I think we’ve always been co-ed.

Down by 30. That’s a 40 point swing from being up 10 in the first half. Still 8:00 left in the game.

Free throws, turnovers and fouls according to the stats. Wish the game was on so we could see what we have.

The talent gap is significant at every position.

We had 10 scholarships open and split them evenly on HS/portal guys.
Some of the portal guys aren’t even playing. Not a good sign moving forward. I know it’s very tough when the roster gets gutted and funds are limited but if our portal guys don’t come around it’ll be a tough year.

Much more obvious than last week , they have five really good basketball players on the court at all times. We just don’t. Athletes yes, basketball players no. Hopefully DK can figure out a way to get it done against peer competition by conference time.

Spillers looks like the best player on the floor in the WFU-Michigan game. Averaging 12/12 going into the game.Harcum is averaging 15.5 at Murray.

Spillers can play anywhere. He brings the intangibles with the talent. He’s also hit 2 threes today. If he can expand that part of his game he could be an all-ACC player. Might be regardless.

Athletes, yes, but basketball players, no?
That’s what many of you who have seen us play are saying. So, now I know why we are terrible at the FT line.

I didn’t watch the game today, did they ever put Huntley at the three?

That would make a starting five as good as any in the Sunbelt. My opinion.

Threadgill over Mantis and Tate over Marsh, but I agree with the rest.

I did see Mantis score on a baseline drive through contact for Maine the other day…something I never saw in Boone. He also appears to be a better rebounder for Maine. It appears they’re asking him to do a little more than just shoot the rock from half court, or he’s realized that he needs to.

IMO, Marsh would have been a difference maker against Miami. His ability to get the ball into the lane is lacking at this point with the current team. But, we have what we have. It's a big task to put together a team from 10+ individuals.

I agree. With another year under his belt, one would think he has learned to figure out spacing given his height deficiency.
