They were pretty dominant throughout, probably could have put them away sooner, but laid off the gas and let them hang around. Last 3 minutes was pretty awesome with their 10-0 run.

Had to watch 2nd half on a delay. We let them hang around in 2nd half but we closed out the game strong, like Champs do. I love that our guys have such a confident look down the stretch of games. Keep it rolling. This team is far from perfect but they are fun to watch and always play hard. Go Mountaineers!

Fun crowd and a pretty good turnout. Fun watching Coach Kerns and players going into the stands high fiving students after the game!!! This team is limited offensively, but man they play their butts off on Defense. James Lewis and Michael Eads did not fill the stat sheet, but the job they did on defense on #25 was a difference in the game. He was definitely frustrated all night and then lost his composure at the end of the game.

Consider that this off season we will lose a lot of experience but we’ll make up for it in height. Almonacy, Forrest, and Delph are listed at 6’0”, 6’2”, and 6’3”. Their likely replacements Brown and Eads are 6’3” and 6’4”. I could see Kerns going to the transfer portal to find another 6’3” shooter off the bench and we shouldn’t lose too much. Gonna be tough to replace Justin’s ice filled veins though. I swear he’s automatic when there’s less than 5 on the shot clock.
