One can never quote the Simpsons too often in a classroom (assuming the students are old enough to appreciate the humor.) Maybe my daughter should not be quoting the Simpsons to her 3-4-5 pre-K class. Maybe.

Good weekend for APP basketball as the ladies completed the Saturday sweep, beating ULAR 60-49. Another gutsy effort.

Ladies up 9 at halftime. Weird to have a noon game but way to go ladies. Hold serve at home.

Edit: let Coastal come back and take a 2 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter then Coastal got cold. Lady Mountaineers took a lead and never gave it back up. 4-1. Little Rock plays tomorrow at 12:30. They win and we stay tied. They lose and we take sole possession of 1st place.

YES. Coastal ladies were 12-4 before playing us. Good basketball team. Beating them is a really good win.

I know a long way to go but the women are seeming to jell and getting some outstanding individual play from Seton Hall transfer Alexia Allesch. She's averaging 16 a game in Belt play including 20 each in our last two wins.
