Un F'ing believable! With everything else we did wrong, we still had a chance to win if Burgess just drives to the damn basket. Why on earth would you dribble around for 8 seconds and then shoot a fadeaway 3 in a tie game?

This OT is going to be hard to watch.

Even if we win the Capel experiment is officially over at the end of his contract. Im tired of defending him and I've run out of excuses.

No idea what Burgess is doing. Dribble around, take a 15 footer with 15 seconds left on the shot clock. Just give the damn ball to Healy.

No idea what any of them have been doing since the 6:30 mark. This is two weeks in a row we've been subjected to the same meltdown.

Glad they won, but Capel can not coach. I see better coaching in church basketball.

Wow! Never seen such poor shot selection lead to a game winner but I'll take the W.

We got the ball back down on with 28 seconds left and had NO FREAKING idea what we were doing in the front court.

"NO ONE wanted the ball...."

Listening to DJ and I do not know if he knew his mike was open.

We did not run a PLAY at the end of the game....did we not have one....do we not know what was called.....we had a timeout....so lucky to come away with this win!

Crazy!

Trice playing for an injured Canty is as big a downgrade as there is in all of sports...

Another Appventure. Next season w/o Healy is looking ugly.

Saturday/Davidson looks ugly w/o Neal and Canty.

I'm going to give this team less of a shot to beat DC Saturday than I did the football to beat GSU in football last year.

Ha, I heard that too! Pretty funny stuff. He was being brutally honest, so I doubt he knew he was mic'd up. He was exactly right though, nobody wanted the ball late the in game. They had two guys around Healy and as DJ mentioned, Trice in particular wanted no part of the basketball.

Hopefully, Canty and/or Neal will be able to play on Saturday. Either way, it will take our best game of the season to be competitive. You can bet McKillop won't wait until the last 10 minutes to put on the press.

I won't disagree with a word spoken thus far. However, we did win and WCU and Samford both lost. It was one of the better defensive efforts I've seen us play. How good would this team be if the game were only 35 minutes.

I'm in Boone for the two game set. I couldn't believe we would do it again. I was convinced we would lose in OT. We obviously got lucky. We do need to remember they played almost the entire game w/out Scanty and most of the 2nd half w/out Neal. Give Burgess credit for the two foul shots late and the big three. He has a ways to go but he grew up some tonight. ( No pun intended).
