One area that had been lacking was consistency. In Capel's first year, he had Mr Consistency Donald Sims who masked a lot of faults. Last year and early this year those faults were exposed and visible. Consistency comes from coaching and one thing I've seen recently is that all four coaches are up and getting into it.
Elon really could have torn us apart the entire game if no adjustments were made. After the first ten minutes, the team didn't give up any gaudy big runs and stayed with the course and it paid off.
