Ugly loss. Definitely the games we should be winning four years in.

I’m not big on being overly critical of our staff, but we’ve had some glaring issues that don’t seem to be getting addressed

Still winless v. D1 competition. ECU lead for less 1 minute of the entire game.

Blow a 13 point lead in the 2nd half. Our basketball program is just pathetic. If we aren’t playing some little nothing college from a lower division we lose 9 out of 10 times. I think we have some talent on the team but we need a coaching staff that can Coach a team to finish and get a win. Time to end The Fox experiment.

Be positive, we're probably the best Div II level team in North West NC.

Back to the Future...Fox adopts the *infamous* Jason Capel fade for his Year V run! Students will vote with their feet *again* at the next home game. Who could blame them?

We’ve lost a lot of close ones lately, but this one in no shape or form should have been lost. I’ve mentioned this in every game I’ve seen this year....our best player tries to do too much at inopportune times and gives the ball right back to the other team. It happens with Shabazz over and over and over. He drives into double or triple coverage and tries to draw a foul or be a hero. Ike Johnson was right behind him with a wide open dunk. Sometimes the green light to shoot needs to be yellow or find the obvious open man since three on the other team are guarding you. The continuation was bs and ecu was all over seacats back a couple times with no calls, but we were WAY better than the team that just beat us and we found a way to lose. We don’t learn from mistakes very well....and coach needs to spend 3 days on free throws. Unbelievable.

Kind of like watching the same movie over and over hoping for a different ending.

That 54.1 % free throw stat is par for middle school basketball!

I can’t remember the last time I watched an App basketball game when I didn’t wish I had the last two hours of my life back afterward.

We can do better. Led the whole game and absolutely shit the bed. So many tiny schools with microscopic budgets are so much better at basketball than us. Time for a change.

I don’t have the energy to track the trajectory of App State and Furman over the last five years but suffice it to say we were on the same track then but certainly not now.
