Princeton's NET is 49/50. And its Princeton, their loosing hurt. How much, we'll see. But it hurt.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:58 pmWell, damn. Hope it won’t hurt us.

Re: NIT
Yesterday, we were about 7 above the cut line on most sites. Today, we are still 4 above (and that's without any more refusals--Memphis, Ole Miss and Indiana have already said they would decline)

Re: NIT
I don't think so. People who are pretty connected to our athletic department say that they fully expect NIT still and that has not seemed to change.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:58 pmWell, damn. Hope it won’t hurt us.
I wonder if there will be any politics in the bracket because I would think the NIT would see an App at Wake game as a good money game. I would be shocked if we don't get in NIT.

Re: NIT
I had more confidence in making thr NIT before this. People who are pretty "connected" to our athletic department are some of the biggest providers of fake news of anyone on this board.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:49 amI don't think so. Re: NIT
I wonder if Gillin has had discussions with Kerns and what the odds are on him returning for at least one more year?WASU 93 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:18 amYesterday, we were about 7 above the cut line on most sites. Would we rather decline NIT if Kerns is leaving to get a jump on coaching search?

Yes to the first question. The others I would be speculating.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 12:21 pmI wonder if Gillin has had discussions with Kerns and what the odds are on him returning for at least one more year?WASU 93 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:18 amYesterday, we were about 7 above the cut line on most sites. Re: NIT
Playing in the NIT has no or virtually no impact on the search. If DG is aware that Kerns is leaving, DG is working through intermediaries one would think to find out who may be interested.

Re: NIT
I am not talking about people who post on this board. I know a couple season ticket holders who said NIT tickets were popping up in their account. It is funny we have had a few on here thinking we had a chance at NCAA and then some believe we are possibly on outside looking in for the NIT. We won't be in NCAA tourney but I am 100% confident we are in the NIT.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:59 amI had more confidence in making thr NIT before this. Re: NIT
I did not think it would either but I saw that question posed elsewhere so I was curious to see what others think on this. I think a good run in the NIT helps us regardless of what Kerns does.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 2:00 pmPlaying in the NIT has no or virtually no impact on the search.
