I was joking just in case someone missed the point! But I guess since we won and this was posted 3 hours ago, if we can't complain we can't post.
...or maybe it is Kent Read, Kent Write, Kent Play Baseball!

Great win.
Good to see the runners scoring. This is a young team that has to fill a lot of voids. We will continue to improve.

It wasn't too many years ago they were in the CWS. While they aren't that team this year, still in our position an 8-0 win is really good news!

That's a step in the right direction for the team. Our starting pitching continues to be strong this year. If the bats can perform like this on a regular basis we'll be ok.

an 8-0 win over Kent actually seems pretty big considering they beat CofC the day before and scored 8 runs on them. I'm starting to think that once we get into conference play, our team is going to be a force after having played all the tough early competition.
today's game against CofC will let us know

Very nice win yesterday for the Apps. Kent State has a good team and is a very solid program. Been to the NCAA Tournament 5 of the last 7 years, CWS in 2012. Won 36 games and the MAC East regular season last year but didn't get an at-large.
CofC would be a huge test today if the weather permits. Kid expected to start is Bailey Ober, a 6-8 freshman who's 4-0 with a 1.00 ERA. 27 innings, 26 strikeouts and 0 walks. He's a horse, getting any offense going against him would be a good sign.
