Rodon getting lots of calls

Jaylin Davis seems to like hitting Rodon. If I'm not mistaken, his 1st college at bat was a solo HR on Rodon.

And Davis adds to the list against Rodon! 3 run homer puts the Apps down 6-5

If we could just defend a little this would be a different game.

Pitching was better, hitting was not bad, fielding sucked bad.

We've played every game since the first (which I consider a mulligan considering the circumstances) really closely. We tweak a couple items and clean up simple defensive plays, we'll be just fine come conference time.

Keep in mind that we would've been ecstatic four years ago just being competitive in these games vs. the top 25.

We'll be fine. Good showing today. Playing this type of schedule hurts now but will help us later.

This. If these guys start to feel like they can go head-to-head with the top 25 on a nightly basis, we'll be fine in conference. I think yesterday was a turning point.

I guess some here want us to play crappy teams and get a lot of wins and then when conference rolls around and we play good teams, we get spanked.
