There have been a bunch of big upsets in this tournament already. UCLA , GT, UF, FSU to name a few. Troy will have a really good shot at making it to Omaha.

9 ACC teams in the tournament..several were hosting...only one left standing .. I think the ACC was overrated 😂

And UNC got a massive break when ECU and UT went 14 innings in game one.

Need them to lose and the rest of the tournament will be gravy.

Also saw that the four freshmen of the year from ULL said today, that all four will return to ULL. Good for them. Hopefully we’ll keep our kids too.

I'm hearing $2.1M to go to SC. Liberty's coach to CCU.

I get the money but is SC really a better job? He would likely make the tournament more often at Coastal than SC.

Maybe... South Carolina has a pretty good baseball history...just not as consistently lately.
CCU has easier path if they can stay on top 3 or 4. SEC got 12 teams in. Who knows which is better path long term.

I think it's a toss up. The SEC is deeper than the SBC, but they also had 12 of their 16 teams make the tournament. In the SBC you need to be top 3 every year to guarantee you'll be in. SC's facilities are a little better (CCU's are very good too). It's pretty equal so I guess a raise from $550K to $2.1M was the deciding factor. Also more NIL to offer.

If you go .500 in the SEC you're a 2 seed. 3 seed at worst.
