For those who don't know, here' what ABS looks like. Pitcher, batter or catcher taps their helmet/hat to signal a challenge to the ball or strike.

Someone mentioned to me that had we been swept by UNC or the equivalent, instead of Gardner Webb , that we would be in the conversation regarding an at large bid , at least as of today. As it stands in reality, we have to win the tournament.

This makes a lot of sense. That’s how Troy is so high in RPI despite an overall losing record. Also a big reason the NCAA tournament selection process is flawed relying on RPI.

Hope we learned our lesson for future scheduling.

Cajuns are gonna pack all their winter clothing seeing temps in the high 40s tomorrow night.

Weekend forecast looks clear and colder than usual this time of year.

Duke being down this year didn’t help the SOS either. But yup- flip the GWebb series and we’re 31-15… similar record to Coastal and USM.

Playing GW isn't a big deal, but we have to take care of business. The real problem are the other three non-conference series all coming against teams with a current RPI of 259 or worse. Playing one is okay, but three gives us no margin for error. Replace one with a P4 and another with just an average RPI team and we'll be fine SOS wise.

Kam always trying to walk.
Gets caught looking with bases loaded 2 outs in the 9th.

Right Down the middle…

That was served up. We've missed some big opportunities tonight.

Another should be W. Good comeback. Have to swing the bat and not look to walk when you’re the cleanup hitter
