The entire production…let’s say, leaves a lot to be desired.AppState222 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 4:35 pmThey're fine. The color guy is a little corny, but theyre fine. Yall are being whiny. Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Team ERA sitting at 4.72. Not bad.
Bats hitting .297.
We don’t strike out much at the plate. Need to walk a tad more, the walks fell off some lately.
For the most part, relatively healthy heading into conference play, especially the arms. Knock on wood.

Right now that will put them in the top 100 ERA wise. I never thought I’d ever see that to be honest. Let’s hope the trend continues.

If this pitching coach continues to turn this pitching staff around, he won’t be around very long

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
This might be the first year pitching coach is making all the calls. We seem to be deeper this year. We’ve got a few starting options and deeper pen. But with the easy schedule we played, we might not be sure who to go to yet in the pen.Appmountaineers19 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 6:47 pmIf this pitching coach continues to turn this pitching staff around, he won’t be around very long
Marks midweek? (feel like him or Nolan could swap if Marks gets back to form)
Tibbett, Clark and Tramontana might get the most mid relief work.
Wilson/Harris/Watson/Garcia/Stanford late innings?
Fisher/Smith- closers
Barrazino when he gets back to health.
Might be missing some. That’s a decent stable. Doesnt seem like we will see Oblen or Zang, not sure of their status.

It’s just a scrimmage.
Anyone else tired of us not taking midweeks seriously?
The weak OOC schedule and treating midweeks as bullpen work days have run its course.

Tracking that way.
Swept by Omaha bound GWebb.
Destroyed by Western.
Need to steal a couple of series in conference play and not get beat by similar foes in midweeks.

I didn’t like what I saw. It’s going to take a turnaround at this point to save Kermit’s job.
