Winning a road series against a top half team is extremely difficult to do. Win the next two series and we'll be no worse than the 4th seed and likely 3rd. Who would have thought that was possible a month ago?

Southern Miss swept ULM so they are one game ahead in second, with tiebreaker.

South Alabama, who is now a game behind in fourth, surprisingly swept Texas State in San Marcos.

The Cajuns, next week's opponent, swept Georgia State at home (App's last weekend serieS) and have won 8 of their last 9. They're 12-12 in league and trying to avoid the play-in round. They host New Orleans on Tuesday before coming up the mountain.

South Alabama and Troy play next weekend so that'll help App in the standings as long as App helps itself.

Big series coming up. LaLa has won 5 in a row. I believe RPI in the 40s I believe. Will be a great challenge for the team.

Hopefully we can finish in the #2 spot. But, it's looking like just winning 1 of our last 6 games will secure a top 6 seed to avoid the single elimination play-in round. Of course, losing 5 of our last 6 wouldn't give me much confidence in the tournament, regardless of our seed

Arkansas State and ODU are tied for 7th and are 4 games behind us. Arkansas State still has Texas State and South Alabama and ODU has JMU and Coastal. I can't see either team winning more than 4 of those 6 games. I think Arkansas State is the biggest threat considering their RPI is 51 and ODU plays against Coastal and we have the tie breaker over them.
