17-11. Heck of an effort guys. Won the series but had a 3 chances to walk off and sweep! Still feels good to win the series vs. the Chickens.

Finally over. 12+ hour day for us. 18 hour day for Coastal…whew. All to turn around and play Clemson Tuesday. They’re toast

We had our chances tonight. Two out of three against the top team in the Sunbelt is no small achievement. Build on it.

Great series win. Starting pitching was above average...that is all we need to be competitive with the bats..

I'll take 3-3 versus Texas State and Coastal.

Yes, and nearly 5-1. I'm happy we're at the point of being disappointed to not sweep the #13 team in the country.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

We knocked Coastal out of the Baseball America Top 25! What a weekend on the mountain.

Sitting at 60th RPI with a light schedule this week.

Away at UNCA Tuesday
3 games at home v Marshall.

Go App!

Going to extras in the second game of a Sunday DH going into this week could be a curse. With an away game Tuesday and then a Thursday-Saturday series for Easter, that means 7 games in 8 days.

That's why I wanted the DH Saturday and not Sunday...1 extra day would help.
At least they are local/home. Coastal has Clemson away Tuesday and probably just got home...then away at ULM Th-Saturday......Woof. Who made that schedule???????

Sounds like a good dry run for the tournament.

Climb a little more throughout the year and we're looking at a possible at-large bid. The SBC is strong enough that we can easily improve our RPI. Need to start by sweeping Marshall, although 2 of 3 is most likely.

Fortunately we have a short trip to UNCA and are at home for the Marshall series. Tujetsch is out for Tuesday but should be able to pitch an inning or two for Marshall.

We jumped from 88th to 60th after this weekend.

Game today postponed, bummer. Will be good for rest though before Thursday. Hopefully we can make it up in May where we currently have midweeks available.

GO APPS. BEAT MARSHA.

How's the weather? Rough weather for home games out the gate.

RPI update even though we were cancelled Tuesday. 53rd in the nation. Wow! Pack the Beav for the boys of Summer.
