I don’t know how deep their bullpen is, but we only used two pitchers today.

We had some crazy good at bats today. I think Quintero had a 16 pitch AB and laced a double. Doing that will force them to the pen quick! I think tomorrow is still 2, 9 inning games. Should be an excellent crowd again.

It’s part pitching but I think a key here is that we lost our pitching coach a few months before the season. Some of these calls coming from the dugout are interesting in the Wilson starts. Going back to Winthrop, he sits 94-95 and can touch 97, but we’re calling mid to outside fastballs? Kids can be late on it and hit oppo homers or flick it in the gap for doubles. 94-95 need to pound inside!! I think pitch calling is improving but no reason Wilson shouldn’t be dominant with his velo and offspeed stuff.

Agreed, inside pitching is key at any level.

On the other side, our guys aren’t backed off from it. Look at all the hit batters we’re getting on. Need to keep working on getting them home.

We moved up 23 spots in RPI after yesterday! 68th overall now. 1 more win today would be excellent.

The Sun Belt has 8 in the top 70, wow. This conference is stacked for baseball.
