Don't know if this is news or not, but CJ Boyd spoke to the App State Board of Trustees Athletics Committe on Friday as a featured student athlete (they do this every meeting, which is quarterly).

Boyd said he'll go pro after graduating next season.

He'll be a senior so that sounds about right. If he continues to progress like he has this year - he a very good shot to go pro.

Would like to see that list, I can't find anything. I don't have a true answer to your question. My guess is to give Xander a rest, he doesn't need summer ball. Boyd probably in the same boat. We played a ton of ball late in the year, they got plenty of reps. Might be a situation where they are on campus doing summer school and workouts so they don't have too heavy of a school load this coming fall/spring. We had a few do that as well. Honestly, summer school was a blast, it was just you and some of your teammates knocking out to 3-12 credits of class and working out in the Booner summer. There's nothing like it.

FWIW I have not heard of any portal departures, but it's early, shoot, the season ends tonight! GO LSU and Coach Josh Jordan!
