App up 1-0 on Coastal in the top of the 3rd in the SBC tournament elimination game. App is the 6 seed - Coastal is the 9 seed.

#18 Taylor Thorp took a 60 mph pitch on the elbow. Puts runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs then a ball got away from the Coastal catcher and one runner advances. 1st and 3rd. Waalk pops up to center. No joy!

Lose 3-2. Coastal scores 3 in 6th after 1+ hour weather delay.

Our Spring sports struggle across the board.

Huge bummer. I felt like this team was better than two loses in the tourney.

We lost our last six games including the two tourney losses. Of those six losses, four were to 9th place Coastal. The team really did limp home to the finish. Its a young bunch, so hopefully there are better times a head.

I really have adopted a "temper my expectations" attitude when it comes to Spring sports at App. We really don't see much success in terms of competing for titles and in many cases struggle to reach the upper half of the conference.

Coastal just took out #2 seed South Al 3-0.

29-26 on the season. Tough to end it with 6 straight losses but still finished above .500 for the 3rd season in a row.

LaLa takes the title , again.
