It'd be real nice to take down Georgia Southern today. Real nice, but unlikely.

The 9 a.m. game hasn't even started yet due to storms. Sun Belt just said games will start NO EARLIER than 8 p.m. ET, so App, who was scheduled for the second game, might not play today, or if they do, it'll be very late.

League bosses are going to get together and decide later today if they'll go to a single elimination tournament (they did this in 2017) or find a second site to still do double elimination. Tournament had to be done at the stroke of midnight Sunday night/Monday morning to the NCAA bracket can be made.

Conference tournaments all over are being wrecked by this humid air bringing in storms.

Tournament is now single elimination. Quarterfinals on Friday at the same times the games were supposed to be today. Times ET.

Quarterfinal 3: No. 5 Seed South Alabama vs. No. 4 Seed Louisiana, 5:00 p.m.
Quarterfinal 4: No. 10 Seed ULM vs. No. 1 Seed Texas State, 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 28 – Semifinals
Semifinal 1: Winner Quarterfinal 1 vs. Winner Quarterfinal 2, 4:00 p.m.
Semifinal 2: Winner Quarterfinal 3 vs. Winner Quarterfinal 4, 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 29 – Championship Game
Championship Game: Winner Semifinal 1 vs. Winner Semifinal 2, 2:00 p.m.

Single elimination
2 extra days of rest

Single elimination is probably our only real shot at winning. Less pitching and it’s really hard to fight back from the loser bracket.
