Embarrassing loss. Never competitive. Blundering mistakes. Add to that the emails that several people screen shot and tweeted that were sent today at 6:30pm promoting a Wake Forest game “tomorrow” sheesh.

I will say that this WF game was somewhat meaningless for a number of reasons. Also, Wake went something like 24-2 in non-conference this season and likely will make the tournament. So I'm not as annoyed with the blowout loss. The mistimed promotional email was definitely annoying, moreso since the game just blew open when it was sent.
But now, every game has meaning. The Troy series (Thursday to Saturday this week) and then a presumptive elimination game on Tuesday in Montgomery. Winning that Tuesday game guarantees at least two more games. The season could very well be over with a week.

Who did we throw last night? Was it anyone that we would count on this weekend? Sorry, I wasn’t watching. Like football players,these are 18-22 yr olds and they are not (as we know) MLB players, they are nowhere near as consistent….. luckily the game didn’t matter. As T-Dog said, these next games matter much more.

Man, gave up 9 doubles in one game? Troy's leadoff hitter went 5-5 with four doubles.......Yikes!

We had a ball drop right in front of the left fielder..routine fly ball. I get he lost in lighting, background or whatever..seems to be the type of season for the baseball team. Go get 'em today

Email got me! Should’ve checked the schedule. Showed up Wednesday evening to see App take on Weak and it appeared the players were leaving practice.

Win today and we’re the 9 seed facing #8 ULM - lose and we’re the 10 facing #7 Georgia State.
Down 1-0 in the top of the 4th. Gave up a solo HR in the first.
Aaaaand another solo HR for Troy on the top of the 5th.
