I looked around for it last night and couldn't find such a bill. A bill in 2019 passed the state House with overwhelming support, but never saw the light of a state Senate committee. There was another bill filed in February 2021 that never was heard. Was it part of an ombud bill or the state budget?

I asked Doug Banks. There is a new law for in state tuition for athletes but it only applies to full grant in aids.

Just watching the game , noticed two guys enter the picture from my right locked in a sumo rasslin hold and moving across the screen to my left .At about mid-screen one guy lifts the other and slams him as others look on in disbelief.Crowd gathers and blocks my view , game proceeds on ...eventually crowd moves away and I see medical personel {blue gloves} and one of the men getting a large icepack being applied to his head.Just thought it a little crazy.

And yes , nice outing yesterday , one of our best this season.Hoping we can close it out with a sweeeeeep.

Only 10 teams make the tournament; we currently hold that spot by 1/2 game over Arkansas State. While we will host 3rd place UL, State plays last place UTA. UTA sits in 12th 1/2 game behind State and a full game behind us. We are 1 1/2 games out of 9th.

I looked at the bottom 5 teams in the conference remaining schedules and I think 7 wins over the rest of the conference schedule gets us in. 7-5 over the last 12 is doable. We always play Louisiana well, GA State is sliding, Arlington stinks and Troy has been bad as of late. Really good opportunity if we continue to score runs and pitching limits the free bases.

I just pulled our SOS, its 112! Michigan’s is 120, someone mentioned the ‘success’ North Dakota State is having…their SOS is 259. Of the teams ahead of us in the SBC standings, only Coastal and GaSo have a stronger SOS.

As most of you know, baseball is a unique game - I know people question how this or that could happen in a game but baseball is the least predictable sport I have ever been involved with - I know there have been questions about the APP guys this season - errors, poor pitching, etc., Here are some examples I heard about this morning involving ACC teams - FSU and Clemson, two perennial baseball powerhouses, committed a combined 10 errors in one game and 18 in the 3 game series??? - Duke and GT, two teams in the NCAA tourney last year and/or previous years had weekend games of 12-11 and 14-12???
