We burned through 5 pitchers in a midweek game. Kermit wanted to win. I don’t think that the pitching staff for a mid major (much less a good varsity high school) team should have a stat line that includes 8 walks, 3 wild pitches and 3 hit by pitch. I’ve been around the game a long time and I’ve seen decent JV baseball games with better pitching control than that.

Bingo. Those stats are what put us in 1 out bases loaded situations. In just the games I've paid close attention to this year I remember at least 3 bases loaded situations.
