Re: Baseball America article on Marcello
Watching the short video at the bottom of the article of the last strikeout, it was interesting to see how quickly Marcello worked. When a pitcher has his stuff working, I think a fast pace puts even more pressure on the batter.

Re: Baseball America article on Marcello
Had great seats yesterday. All of our pitchers looked really strong, with the exception of the occasional control issues.
One thing I really liked was the attitude. Once Marcello got the last out, there was a mild celebration, the usual handshakes and they walked off the field. They expected to win and that attitude is very important. I love Coach Pollard and we'll miss him but he certainly changed the culture of Appalachian baseball. Billy Jones looks like he is prepared to keep the train rolling!

http://www.gopack.com/allaccess/?media=370691 should give a free replay of the entire game. Nice of NC State to do this for free. I watched the 1st inning and then the last out of the game.MountainMan wrote:Watching the short video at the bottom of the article of the last strikeout, it was interesting to see how quickly Marcello worked. This is my very generic signature added to each post.
