Baseball 2019 Game Megathread

I thought AppDiesel had a good idea of starting one big thread for games because we sometimes don’t have one at all. Starting with Asheville, App is currently down 1-2 in the top of the third.

Awesome win. Still taking some tough losses, still sub .500 but it sure looks like coach Smith has things headed in the right direction.
13-18 overall. 5-7 in conference. 3 game series with ULM starts Friday at 6. ULM is 15-18 overall. Also 5-7 in conference so a very winnable series.

As I recall, this "system" was proposed a week or so ago and support for it was rather underwhelming. Seems the plan is to force-feed it to us now for baseball and softball.
Let's see if you still feel that way in a couple of weeks when you have to wade through six, eight or ten pages of messages (or more) to find one particular game that you're interested in. A lot of busy, multi-tasking folks will just give up and move on rather than try to read the whole "file cabinet."
Certainly, my opinion is just one among hundreds of our membership. Que cera, cera!

This is a great idea for both baseballand softball! As far as I'm concerned more info is better if it's about APP.

If your goal is the latest info on the latest game jump straight to the last page. Certainly easier than jumping around to 10 different topics that aren't dated in the title trying to find the game you're looking for.

WASU 93...It's all good, 66 and I talked it out and he has a specific reason.
Ultimately we're all Mountaineers and it's all about having one consistent place to talk App baseball, especially when we're playing a lot of games in a short period of time...some multi-game series, some one-off games. Some games and series wouldn't have threads posted at all.

Will Sprinkle gives up 2 run dinger in the top of the 2nd with 1 out to put ULM up 2-0. Mountaineers rally back with 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to win 3-2.
1-0 in this 3 game series with ULM.
6-7 in conference.
14-18 overall with 21 games to go.

App and ULM tied 5-5 top of the 8th...rain delay..so i dont know if it will resume later today or tomorrow..hopefully we can find a way to win this series. that would be huge

Unfortunately, ULM has the bases loaded and only one out so we have a pitching challenge when the game resumes but hope we can pull this one out. App came back from an 0-3 deficit earlier in the game. This team does seem to play all the way till the end! Go Apps!

Game 2: B8 App ties it up at 8 with 2 run single. WAY TO BATTLE.
Still B8. 2 on 2 out and game is in a rain delay.
