Starting this Friday the 21st Georgia State comes to Boone for a three game series. The loser of this series is in sole possession of last place. Here's hoping App gets the sweep or at least takes the series.

After game one, same mistakes (top - down), not looking good.

Last year after 18 games, we were 5-13 in Belt play, we need to win at least one this weekend to match last year's record.

Personally, it would be nice if we could take the series and avoid last place once again.

Personally, I can't wait to see what Coach Smith does once he's been here more than 10 months and actually coaches players he recruited instead on playing with another staff's players.

I heard rumors a few years back concerning how Jones burned a lot of bridges with high school coaches throughout NC. APParently the results are still being felt, hoping Coach Smith can get it turned around in the next few years. In the mean time it sure would be nice to not be the "caboose" once more.

Apps take game one of the double header 6-1, can avoid the "caboose" with a win in game two.

Up 11-1 in the 6th.

We're up 13-1 in the bottom of the 6th. Like our chances of taking the series.

It's orange sweater boy, but it never gets old.

It's bad to be bragging about beating someone for "outta the cellar" but one step at a time.

Hopefully this will get us out of our recent slump

Actually we're ahead of ULM too.

Went to my first two games in the Smith Era yesterday and was impressed immediately by the change in locker room culture. Once the talent and depth improves I expect us to be very successful.
